Greg Montie, Founder and CEO
Greg is CEO and founder of Rotoliptic Technologies Incorporated. As a mechanical engineer, he has over 18 years’ professional experience in natural gas engine, hydrogen power, and clean tech industries.
Previous to Rotoliptic, Greg was Director for PowerDisc Technology, CEO of a previous start-up, and performed lead technical roles at Cummins Westport, dPoint, and PowerDisc. Through Greg’s experience in natural gas engines, energy recovery systems, and hydrogen fuel cells, he has invented and filed 10 patents with a number of commercial successes.
Garry Mihaichuk, Oil & Gas Industry Advisor
Garry is a senior executive with over 40 years of experience building and developing global businesses in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure. He holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours at Queen’s University; Harvard Business School, Michigan University, University of Calgary, and Rotman School of Management.
Prior, Garry was: President and CEO Toromont Energy Systems; VP Heavy Oil and Oil Sands for Husky Energy; SVP Mancal Corporation; EVP TransCanada and President TransCanada Transmission; SVP Amoco Corporation. He is currently a Director of a number of public and private companies including: Greenfields Petroleum, Badger Daylighting Ltd, Nordcon Canada Inc and RLG International.
Chris Reid, Director & CFO
Chris is a Distinguished Alumni with a Masters in Engineering from University of Victoria. He is a seasoned businessman, participating at a senior level for various Vancouver based technology firms. Previously, he served as CEO of Cellex Power, Partner at General Exergy, Director at Acetech, and general Manager of the motive power division at Plug Power. Chris is currently a board member at the Working Opportunity Fund, chairman at Hydrexia, and an executive at Foresight Cleantech Accelerator.
James Wells, Director
James currently serves as the Vice President of Investments at Evok Innovations. Previous, James worked as Vice President at Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital, a sustainable innovation and alternative energy venture capital firm focusing on breakthrough innovations in the resource sector. At Chrysalix, James was involved in all aspects of fund management, from deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and fundraising. James was an active contributor to portfolio management teams related to industrial water treatment, CO2 capture & conversion and industrial big data analytics.
As a Vancouver native and active Angel Investor, James has personally and professionally invested in 10 BC based technology companies and is passionate about contributing to BC’s cleantech and entrepreneurial community.
Tom Kramer, Pump Industry Advisor
In 2011 Tom acquired Smith Cameron Process Solutions (founded 1981) and has since established the company as Western Canada’s premier process equipment, pump, and solutions provider.
Prior, Tom served as President and CEO of Canadian Utility Construction, Officer and Director of Strategic Sourcing for Northern Pipeline Construction, and General Manager of Empire Southwest, a Caterpillar Dealer, for the Rental Business Division and Truck Engine Business.
